I'm a maker-designer & part-time educator. My work lies at the intersections of design, sculpture and using making as a research tool. My recent work is about exploring the aesthetic potential of  visually and materially lightweight structures, formed by self-organization, as well as tangible interactions with bio-inspired soft structures. I believe in simplifying complex scientific ideas and open-fabrication. I'm enthusiastic about bicycles, recreational mathematics and microscopy.
